STORMY - THE SARAH WELLER BAND

"Featuring arrangements by Simon Golding, which place the mellifluous vocals of Sarah Weller centre stage, this 12 track collection pays fulsome homage to some of the singers most important touchstones." Peter Quinn (Jazzwise)

STIFF UPPER LIP - ROUGH RAMBLERS

Simon Golding unleashes his latest Rough Ramblers album Stiff Upper Lip. The title reflects Simon's take on British fusion and all things British. Featuring Simon Pearson on drums and Jules Jackson on bass.
DOLLS HOUSE - ROUGH RAMBLERS

SHOP WORN ANGEL - URBAN DWELLERS

They've already had one of their tracks (Lover Man) championed by Pete Tong, but that's not the only reason to keep an eye on this lot. An eclectic mix of funk jazz and chill-out sounds which bring back memories of sexy nights out, this is the perfect soundtrack for driving or chilling out... in fact, doing almost anything. And Mr Tong's right. It's worth buying for Lover Man alone. (Company Magazine, April 02)

TAKE ME AWAY - HEIKATSU
Noticing that the majority of the smoothsound came from the US they wanted to try something with a UK slant and TAKE ME AWAY was born with the help of Urban Dwellers singer Sarah Weller on the vocal numbers. With Jazzfm creating a smooth jazz market they thought it was time to try and get the album released.

Comments: "As good, but creating a slightly different mood, is Plain sailing from Heikatsu. the vocalist here is up and coming Brit chanteuse Sarah Weller who's making quite a name for herself in the more discerning jazz clubs of the capital. Watch out for more from the sultry sounding lady later this year."
Bill Buckley / Blues & Soul March 20,2002.

".there are also some tasty vocals - the refreshingly natural voice of Sarah Weller on Plain Sailing"
